The Minister of Justice of Somaliland, H:E Yonis Ahmed Yonis, held a meeting in his office with the Committee for Issuance of Licenses and the Ethics Committee of Lawyers of Somaliland.

The President inaugurated the event showcasing the policy program and educational curriculum for prisons. The program was prepared by the Ministry of Justice of Somaliland.

Minister of Justice H:E Yonis ahmed Yonis visited the central prison in the city of Hargeisa.

The Minister inspected the living conditions of the prison and the detainees held there.

The Minister conducted an inspection of the Baki District Prison in the Awdal Region.

The inspection was a fact-finding mission aimed at identifying the needs and challenges faced by the prisoners
