Ministry of Justice Presents report on Juvenile Incarceration's for the last two Months

The ministry of justice, Somaliland, presented a report on juvenile incarceration for the last two months from prisons and police station in the country. The event which was held in the hall of the Ministry was officially opened by the Minister of Justice Hon. Saleeban Warsame Guuleed alongside the Director General Hon. Abdirahman Sheikh Hassan.

The Ministry in collaboration with UNICEF held the juvenile justice for children working group. During the meeting , the Director of Women and Children at the Ministry of Justice Mrs. Ismahaan Dool presented information gathered from prisons in the six regions of Somaliland to the working group.

The event held regularly focuses on ways of reducing juvenile incarcerations and promoting childrens rights.

The meeting was attended by various interested parties including the ministry of social affairs, Ministry of Health development,the Ministry of education,SCF,UNICEF,CCBRS,SONYO,NAGAAD,SWLA,MOI,MOH,AGO, SHRC B.V.O.EALF.
